Requiem for Inspector Simmons

Being a haphazard history of the life and adventures of Jack Simmons, former Customs Inspector of the Port of New York/Newark. The author also engaged in the study of literature; aiming artillery; communal farming and running a fast-food franchise. Simmons-afflicted by a feverish libido-was married twice and relates his struggles with monogamy and conventional morality. He frequently juxtaposes his actions with those of celebrated literary and historical figures, in order to find meaning in his life.
