Remembering Vietnam: Why We Should

No one could have imagined these teenaged kids, just out of high school, were capable of the extraordinary courage and selflessness they would exhibit when the bullets flew. When many their age sought refuge in Canada or found other loopholes to avoid service, these brave young men stepped forward and put their ass on the line. As America grew increasingly hostile about the war in Vietnam and disrespected her brave men in uniform, they soon learned to rely on each other. While war is the manifestation of pure evil, a more powerful force is also exhibited and that is love. Love is the only force in the universe that could motivate men to disregard their own safety for no other reason than to go to the aid of a wounded friend in need. This book is a glimpse of the journey of the ordinary soldier in Vietnam.
