Possessed by the demon-like spirit called Yamura, high school student Jake Stewart's life has been in constant upheaval. While trying to deal with his possession and inability to sleep, Jake has fled the small Indiana town of his youth headed south on a bus to Florida. Something dark is pursuing them: Inanna, Queen of the Tskarii and Yamura's elder sister has found a host as well and seeks her sibling out for his act of betrayal some 10,000 years ago. Before this fated duel can occur, Jake and Yamura must face off against a team of reptilian creatures under the control of a parasitic organism known as GX. What connection does this GX parasite have to Inanna or to Jake's missing father? A handful will be gifted with supernatural powers, the rest will become Rejects.
