When Zackery volunteers to work with Neolin-a disabled Native American-in order to score some prescription drugs for personal recreation, he had no idea how much the relationship will ultimately affect him. While his new friend opens his eyes to the power of poetry, Zackery struggles to find his place in life and understand the world around him.
