Regional and Urban Developments in Portuguese-Speaking Countries

In this book, a number of concepts and understandings about 'development' intertwine. Scales, times and human activities are projected onto territories, as to interpret realities. The future of population, the territorial (in)balances and complexity of managing spaces are recurring themes. Regional, sustainable, tourism and historical developments are the major headings under which chapters are organized.
