Reconciliation After Reincarnation

This is the story of a young man named Joshua Meyers growing up in Brooklyn New York during the great depression in the 1930's who lives with his mother Gwen, and an abusive, alcoholic Father named Frank. After the death of his Father, Joshua drops out of school to help his mother by learning a trade, then meets a girl named Alice an gets married. However, Joshua is also an alcoholic. After dying tragically while in an altercation with his wife Alice, Joshua is reincarnated several times; once as a dog while retaining all past memories of his past life, and then reincarnated again years later as a boy in Rome Italy named Angelo in the year 2050. Angelo is raised by his mother Kate and his father Bruno who is a man of the cloth. Angelo, having no recollection of his past lives leaves Rome upon graduating High School to go to the Seminary in Brooklyn New York where he begins to have flash backs to his past life when he was Joshua . Angelo engages in past life regression to come to terms with these feelings of D j vu. Angelo goes on to become a priest, and then many years later he becomes a Cardinal who is called by the Vatican to be told that he has been chosen as one of the candidates for consideration of the position of the Pope. He is told on the same day that his mother has died. Upon returning to Rome, he sees his Father who is now living in a convalescent home. After attending the funeral of his mother, his father decides to tell him the shocking truth that he too was reincarnated, and that his name was Frank and that Angelo was his son Joshua in their past lives. Angelo's father tells him that His cost for redemption was to carry these memories from one past life to the next, and to redeem himself while helping Angelo redeem himself also in his new life as a man of the cloth; a man who would soon become the next Pope.
