I was told it is demonic and not to mess with it. It is Satan worship, they said. There are witches calling themselves mediums who communicate with evil spirits posing as our deceased loved ones. The Bible clearly teaches against Spiritualism I was told. If I get involved, even if I just attend one service at a Spiritualist church, I risk becoming possessed by a demon, my soul will be in jeopardy of being cast into Hell for all eternity when I die, I was warned. It helps us accept and appreciate what is now past in our life, it provides comfort and encouragement for today, and it gives us optimism and understanding of what lies ahead. Just as Jesus did, Spiritualism teaches us to love God and follow the Golden Rule. Spiritualism also encourages each of us to develop our spirit, our eternal self, through personal growth in self-awareness. Self-awareness bridges any gap existing between our finite mind and spirit. The challenge of self-awareness is open to everyone, the rewards for its success great if we are able to tap into our inner true wisdom that is of God.
