Some people say the Civil War was to blame for making Print Olive into the man he became. Others say he was just plain born mean. When he returned to Texas, he set out to become a rich rancher, claiming unbranded cattle and land. What he needed, he took with a rope and branding iron - and if he wanted another man's land, he took it with a rifle, handgun and hangman's knot.
