Raven Book Four

Victoria slowly walked down the lengthy driveway until she finally saw the house, which was almost an exact replica of the one she had previously burned. As she approached the entrance, bile rose in her throat, causing her to feel as though she would choke. As she approached the door, it swung open, revealing a faint glimmer of light on the staircase. She took a few steps over the threshold and the door shut firmly behind her. The interior was eerily reminiscent of the other one. She barely caught a glimpse of the yellow hue of his eyes as it was too dark to see clearly.

"Enter!" Raven's voice reverberated through the living room.

Inhaling deeply, she proceeded a few steps further and noticed a fire burning in the heath.

"I understand why you are here." Ravens voice calm.

"Let's get this over with." She let a long breath.

"Love I have missed you." He smiled.
