Rape and Punishment describes the journey of a middle class wife and mother from the stark emptiness of "empty nest syndrome," through the nightmare of a romantic relationship with a psychopath. Seen through the lens of the brutality of dog racing and the below the radar lives of individuals involved in it, Rape and Punishment casts a stark light on the nature of the separate lives we lead, and the hazards of crossing into unknown territory.
