A Pawfully Perfect Puppy for Emily is a heart warming story about a young girl, Emily, when asked what she wanted as a gift for completing grade two quickly shouted.

"A PUPPY! A PUPPY! My three others pets need a friend." But there was, however, another much more important reason she had in mind. Maybe a puppy would change the 'no pets allowed in the house rule'.



Over her mother's objection, the family ended up at Delbert Kennels where Emily found the cutest ball of fluff with big floppy ears, the runt of the litter trying to attract her attention frolicking on top of his sleeping siblings.

With great ceremony back at the Emily's playhouse the puppy was given the name Ralph. His loves and licks helped Emily deal with a great many issues with her mother's depression. He was a great comfort to Emily. But he was always up for fun and adventure and got himself into trouble with his new found friends more than once.
