From the author: I have suffered from a food allergy that prevented any consistent reading for the majority of my life. After going on a gluten-free diet, I started reading and found myself enjoying many incredible books. Because of all the wonderful novels, it became a goal for me to complete a story that I enjoyed telling. I've tried my hardest to give my characters human characteristics in a world of complete fantasy, so the readers could believe that other worlds exist. In the world we live in, people face several challenges every day, and I wanted my characters to face these same elements of life. My story is a journey of many things - love, strength, hate for some, control for others - but for those who carry the largest stone, it's about saving the world they live in.
