Rabbit Breaks the Vase

Rabbit the Dog is in big trouble! She broke a priceless family heirloom - and she was caught red-handed. There are lots of lessons to be learned as Rabbit goes through many of the reactions that children commonly experience (e.g. lie, blame, half-hearted acknowledgement, etc.). What will help Rabbit finally realize that there is a "right way" to handle a situation like this?

This story creates many opportunities to have meaningful conversations with a child about telling the truth - and feeling true empathy and remorse. There is much to be learned from the mistakes that Rabbit the Dog made - so that the child does not need to make them as well!
