Queen Vernita sleeps by the sandy fireside

The Queen of the Land of Quails is packing her tent, sleeping bag and s'mores ingredients to meet twelve of her wonderful new friends at Jalama beach. This magical year is filled with 31 bathing suits, sunscreen, camera and unknown bravery as she tries new activities along the beautiful waves. Sit with the Queen as she watches the sun set on the vast ocean and collects sand dollars to make unique crafts.



Her journey takes her to a new camping spot every month, where she tries, surfing, deep sea fishing, attends her first fish fry, sandcastle making contest, kite flying, wind gliding, racoon and sea creatures and s'more making by the cozy campfire.
