Thomas and Leah are two ordinary teenagers with extraordinary powers-powers no one knows about except for Thomas' Grandmother, Elizabeth Powell. The two teenagers have just returned from a Moon mission that almost cost them their lives. The two young Earthlings risked everything to return Princess Sukkalgir, a Neptunian, to her people. However, this is only the beginning of troubles for these two young people. Luckily, they have just discovered an ally, Thomas' Grandmother, Grandma Powell. She uses her knowledge, power, and influence to smooth over the rift between Leah's parents and Thomas' family. With full knowledge of Thomas and Leah's encounters with the Neptunians, she helps these two hapless teens find their way. However, Leah's father, John Bohannon, is not easily dissuaded from causing problems for Leah and Thomas. Thomas and Leah's relationship is strained by Mr. Bohannon's constant medaling. As Thomas and Leah struggle with their issues, the Neptunian people call on the teenager's to help again. The very existence of the Neptunian society is at stake as Thomas and Leah rush to help.
