Thirty years after the events in Princess Marin finds the Fortin family in firm control of all of Ireland. Marin, now High-Queen, has instituted many needed reforms that have transformed her kingdom into a land of peace and prosperity. The fairie tale seemed to have a perfect ending. However, "Happily Ever After" ends abruptly one Easter morning.
