Recently widowed Isabel McKay feels the need to find purpose in her life. With grown up and independent children, their old cottage by the sea is more of a burden than an asset. On joining a convent, Isabel soon finds that her intended gift of the cottage to the nuns causes some sharp words to be spoken within the family.
