Beskrivelse
Developing good eating habits begins at a young age. Many children have become accustomed to eating brown items: fried chicken/nuggets, hamburgers, cookies/crackers, and French fries. This book is written for the younger child who is beginning to recognize colors. The message is simple: the more colors you see on your plate, the more health benefits you will get. Words such as phytochemicals, carotenoids, lutein, and bioflavonoids are replaced by the color names green, orange, red, blue/purple, and white. The child will be learning colors and reading skills and developing healthy eating habits.
