Quantum Narratives offers varying length stories and musings, delicately voiced through metered poetry. Carried by a shrewd assignment of broad-spectrum metaphors and metaphysical embellishments, day-to-day motifs elevate to visionary.

The goal is feeling, where, owing to poetic density, the final draft transcends the words used to express it (as a symphony endeavors to mature beyond the sum of its individual notes).

Works range from 45 to 3675 words and themes include: heartbreak, nature, love, euphemistic eroticism, philosophy, afterlife, passion, destiny, intangible beauty, and death (death of a loved one, pet, or concept). Here's an excerpt from an erotic poem/fable, titled Memo in the Sand:



Trafficking beauty ~ across dwindling space

Four eyes (in contract) ~ trade passionate stares

Mediating looks ~ 'tween my sight, her face

Where milk-white features ~ vend prettified wares

As a peacock hawks ~ the spectrum it bears



Her stillness campaigns ~ vanishing twilight

To nominate night's ~ deep blue complexion

And chaperons time ~ far beyond midnight

To later cast votes ~ for Sun's resurrection

Or ballot for dawn's ~ young re-election

 

Disembarking there ~ petitioned her name

Yet, without reply ~ she and I became
