It is a book that deals with the theme of quality of life in school. It interprets from the philosophy of education of Nel Noddings, the urgent issues that must be addressed in teaching because, young people in high school have to think about issues such as happiness, love, good life. Thinking love in Martha Nussbaum's interpretation and her conception of Plato, as the Eros that leads us to flourish, through a sanctuary and in the practice of virtue that unites passion and feelings and spirituality, that is why philosophy becomes poetry. He points out the importance of thinking of Eros as the virtue and the impetus that makes us complete beings, because it spiritualizes us. The theme of love is interpreted as an aspect that must be worked on in high schools with great emphasis, because it offers sources of creative energy. The development of the theme of happiness is crucial in teaching, since it leads us to the interpretation that the school should have as its ultimate goal the happiness of the citizen, since only a happy being can make others happy. The text develops Nussbaum's thesis that the passions are necessary for the soul to reach the moment of fulfillment.
