Doll rules are not for everyone, especially for Daisie Moon. After all, Daisie is not just an ordinary doll, maybe not even a doll at all! When the magical Daisie lands on the shores of Philadelphia in 1789, after falling overboard from a ship, she pretends that she cannot walk, talk, or think, in spite of the fact that she can! So no one will guess that she is more than a doll, she tries to sit still and smile all day long. This soon proves to be impossible for Daisie as she wants to have adventures in America, but still worries what might happen if people find out who she really is?
