Writer's block threatens Matthew Blake's career, hoping to rejuvenate his creative juices he returns to his small town roots for the holidays.

Lucinda rents Matt her tiny house. Despite his self-centered ways, she enjoys his company and sharing her faith with him, but Lucinda is dedicated to her five-year-old and romance isn't on the agenda.

As Thanksgiving approaches, Matt finds out Lucinda has deceived him and his will change forever.
