BLURB Out of work, facing eviction, and about to lose her car, Parice, is desperate for a quick infusion of cash. Finding hope in a classified ad the beautiful, former showgirl, agrees to be a Party Girl and all that entails for one debauched night at a private men's club in Charleston S.C.Warning: Public Disgrace at The Club contains extreme, explicit sexual content and situationsEXCERPTAs I approached front entrance of South Carolina Chapter of The Gentleman's Guild of the South, my palms felt clammy and my hands shook like...well like someone applying for a job, which I was-if you can call it that. The advertisement had no phone number and seemed purposely vague. 'Attractive woman-5'-4" to 5'-10".' 'Must have nice figure.' 'Shouldn't be prudish or timid.' 'Apply in person only.' I'm not naive. I knew nudity, groping and probably sex was involved, but the one thing the ad was clear about was money, 'Make upwards of ten thousand for one night with seven thousand guaranteed.' Yes, guaranteed was underlined.Five months before, when I was laid off, and moved back to Charleston, it would have taken me four f*cking months to make ten grand. For that kind of money right now, with me about to lose my car, thrown out onto the streets and creditors calling me day and night, I'd do anything short of murder-I was that desperate.I opened a glass and iron door, one of a pair that looked to be twice as high as my 5' - 6" height and must've weighed a ton. Striding through the doorway, I glanced around the lobby. Ahead were two magnificent, matching, curved staircases that rose to a single common landing. A sign on the wall of each staircase proclaimed Meeting Rooms and Offices were on the second floor. That's where I have to go. Just off the good sized lobby, beneath the staircases, were a pair of french doors through which I could see the busyness of a dining room. Beside the doors was ornate signage reading 'Gilbreath Commons Refectory'. A separate sign displayed the days and hours of operation. Heading toward the stairs to my right, I passed a pair of closed, mahogany doors, the signage of, which read, 'Milburn Library'. I took a half dozen steps up the staircase and heard laughing. I glanced across the lobby to my left and noticed open doors that led into a dimly lit interior. The sign beside confirmed it was what I suspected-a tavern. 'Mayfield Lounge and Card Room, ' the sign read.Reaching the top of the stairs, I walked to and through the door that read Offices. A bespectacled lady, likely in her fifties, looked up. "Hello. May I help you?""Yes, thank you. May I have an employment application?"Her eyebrows dipped. "What position do you wish to apply for?"I set the folded newspaper down in front of her and pointed to the ad I'd circled. "This one under Temporary Employment, where it says Party Girl Wanted."She stared at me. "Those positions are handled exclusively by Mr. Yarboro. If you'll take a seat, I'll ring him."I took a seat and started to read a magazine on Charleston nightlife. After a minute, the receptionist hitched her head toward the partially open door beside her desk, "Mr. Yarboro will see you now."I thanked her and walked through the door. Mr. Yarboro rose and smiled as I entered. "Hi, I'm Lee. You are? First name only, please?" As he came around the desk with his hand out, I studied him. Tall and dark Lee Yarboro was nice looking for a man who appeared to be in his lateI took his smooth hand. "I'm Parice, with a ce, not an s."His other hand encircled our joined hands. He chuckled. "Well Parice with a ce, you are truly beautiful. I love your deep blue eyes and long, dark wavy hai"Well, thank you. You're not to bad yourself."He smiled. "Thank you. Our membership will love you. Excuse my excitement, but you are just what we're looking forI cocked an eyebrow and posed a coy smile. "Which is?"He grinned and said, "Why don't you have a seat
