Beskrivelse
The present work shows the proposal of an intervention project for the promotion of healthy lifestyles in families with hypertensive members from the perspective of community self-development. Due to the implications that this problem related to lifestyles has for the health of people and society in general, this research proposes to deepen in this subject not only from the theoretical point of view, but also in a community intervention proposal that allows the participation of families with hypertensive members in a conscious way in the promotion of healthy lifestyles to improve their quality of life and environment. The research was implemented through the participatory action research process, a method of research and collective learning from reality, based on a critical analysis, with the active participation of the families involved and other health professionals. The research report is structured in two chapters, the first one dedicated to the theoretical and methodological aspects of healthy lifestyles from the perspective of community self-development methodology. In the second one, a community intervention project with self-development approach is proposed for the promotion of healthy lifestyles in families with hypertensive members who belong to the medical offices of the Chiqui Gómez Lubián polyclinic in Santa Clara. Finally, conclusions and recommendations of interest for different institutions are offered.
