Peyton Jackson hires d'Arcy to Find His family. Is this a good idea gone bad? A d'Arcy W. Carter Mystery: Peyton Jackson, d'Arcy W. Carter's housemate, wants to know more about his family now that he is establishing himself as an interior decorator. As an apprenticed private investigator, d'Arcy is dependent on the expertise of her boss to take on this job, but her boss has become strangely absent. Meanwhile, Peyton lands a plum assignment as the head designer for a new megachurch nearby. Peyton can't believe his luck, until someone is murdered, and everyone seems to think Peyton did it. D'Arcy believes Peyton, but she needs the help of everyone, friend and foe alike, to help her get him off the suspect list, and out who is the real killer.
