Promoting heritage tourism in Mauritius

This study examines some key aspects of making built historic heritage sites into tourists' attractions. This work has looked at Mauritius and its built historic sites to analyse what are the main challenges that the sites have to face to become a quality heritage attraction. This study is based on the assessment of the overall surrounding historic heritage sites.Conservation, management, planning and promotion are the areas that have been taken into consideration.
