This volume contains eight selected chapters covering progress in economics research. Chapter One is an investigation into the quantitative importance of oil price on aggregate economic activity in the UK. Chapter Two is an analysis of naturally occurring patterns of growth in asset management based off of theoretical mathematical models. Chapter Three analyzes new global challenges stemming from the digitalization of the economy. Chapter Four examines quantitative effects of the Reagannomics taxation program. Chapter Six reviews military expenditure and growth in OECD countries. Chapter Seven examines Lithuanian armaments acquisition. Chapter Eight looks at the case of Bulgaria from 1999-2020 through the lens of a monetary business-cycle model.
