The text covers what licensing can do for you, outlines the engineering licensure process, highlights the steps to licensure, summarizes the application process, and provides test-taking strategies specific to the PE exam. The text also includes a chapter on ethics for professional engineers and details the rules of professional conduct from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). The Study Guide provides the important references that should be studied for the PE exam as well as a list of other helpful resources. Perhaps the most useful element is a sample test, including the solutions, that is similar in content and format to the actual Principles and Practice of Engineering licensure exam.
