The Prince Albert Grand Council is a not-for-profit organization that is a political entity advocating for twelve First Nations. There are over 43,000 members that make up the PAGC making it one of the largest tribal councils in Western Canada. The Prince Albert Grand Council advocates for and assists in protecting the Inherent and Treaty Rights and Aboriginal Title of its twelve member First Nations. It also provides leadership in a comprehensive way to address issues of common concern that affect PAGC First Nation communities and its members, including Treaty protection, resource development and revenue sharing. This book highlights the history of the PAGC, the current council and twelve First Nations, and the people and programs that bring it all together to fulfill the vision of Treaty Rights.
