They then link the theory of why patients present as they do in each situation to why particular management options are chosen in those situations. The material is consistent with current prehospital practice, generic and evidence based aligning with peak body and research recommendations. The series of books has been writtent by a thirty year plus intensive care paramedic veteran with extensive experience in clinical guideline development, evidence based research, road accident rescuer and tertiary prehospital education.
