The time during which one or more offspring develops inside a woman's body is known as pregnancy. The state of pregnancy can occur by sexual intercourse or assisted reproductive technology. The birth of a child usually occurs after nine months, i.e., 40 weeks from the last menstrual period. Childbirth is the ending of a pregnancy by one or more child leaving a woman's uterus by vaginal passage or Caesarean section. Vaginal delivery is the most common way of childbirth. Three stages of labor, namely the shortening and opening of the cervix, descent and birth of the baby, and the delivery of the placenta are involved in it.
