It's 1880 and feisty Sara Dutton is now in her 30's. Hard times are ahead. She will need to help find and save her dear friend Artie, fight banditos in Mexico, and drought and starvation in her own back yard. Along the way she makes new friends, and loses old friends. Sara struggles with loss and loneliness and to find her footing in the shifting sands of relationships and her place in life.
