Poverty in World Politics

As globalizations of all sorts continue to gain momentum, the idea of democratic participation in political community is becoming ever less tangible. Poverty in World Politics features a collection of articles on the failures to realise democratic ideals in a 'global era', evident in the exclusionary processes of a globalising world economy and the persistence and increase in poverty. The contributors draw upon methods and insights from varied fields, including International Relations, Development Studies, and Ethics, to address the contemporary ethical and political dilemmas and alternatives with respect to world poverty.
