Portal Hunters

After years of warfare, the Resistance had finally defeated the Empire of the New Moon and restored Earth to a democratic republic. But in the wake of the war, humanity faced a new crisis-the Portal Crisis. The portals had been the New Moon's greatest discovery and their deadliest weapon, and only a few knew their secrets. Unfortunately, those secrets died with the Empire, leaving the Resistance to inherit a technology they could neither comprehend nor control. All across the globe, portals opened and closed at random, threatening the ecosystem and unleashing horrors on a war-weary population. In response, the newly formed Civil Ministry assembled an elite unit called the Portal Guardians. The Guardians were tasked with the responsibility of containing the Crisis until a solution could be found. But as Private va Katona and the legendary war veteran Michael Traush are about to discover, there is more to the portals than anyone suspects, and the only person capable of bringing the Crisis to an end has other plans.
