Poetry in Exile: Art and Poetry are the proper refuge

This book is about a journey towards unknown, when one is forced to leave their native country for the sake of safety and peace. It's the innate human drive to try to survive when one has to take perilous roads, and risks for the sake of peace and survival. . When I left my country about 36 years ago because of war, I thought it would be for a year or two, never thought I would be living in a few other countries and finally in UK for the rest of my life. It's a strange journey one has to take, not knowing how the next day will turn out to be, and what and where one's destiny will be, the changes one has to make to adapt to a different culture and way of life along the journey of survival.. I lived in 6 different countries, learning and understanding a new culture like knocking on, and opening a new door and windows of a different world, despite many unpredictable difficulties, it's fascinating. Seeking survival and peace made me learn and communicate in 6 different languages and cultures, despite all the fear and uncertainties, I think I have so far survived and done well.
