Poetic Licence

Amanda Jane (Mandie) Parkinson collected together and annotated the poems she called her Life's Work in the late 1990s with a view to publication. She made it a finished volume telling her life story, although she did not know then of the cancer that was to kill her age 47. I like to think there was another collection to come. This volume has been produced as exactly as possible from the original manuscript she gave me for safekeeping. I have realised now that keeping the poems and her story safe is not enough they need to be shared.
