This book, 30 years in the making, contains poems and diary writings of a 20 year old boricua woman. Forced to live in New York by her family because she refused to settle for society's conventions, while she was in the big apple she joined a church searching for a community. This collection of thoughts has previously been used by a high school teacher of the Bronx as a supplemental part of Bilingual Education, to motivate students to read both in English and Spanish.
