Beskrivelse
Although much research has been done on the history of geographical discoveries, this branch of science resembles an infinite ocean. In his work there are many novelties and serious claims about the discovery of Brazil. The author specifically states that this territory had been discovered not by Pedro Álvares Cabral in 1500, but by Duarte Pacheco Pereira in the first quarter of 1494. The Portuguese gained the benefit of the results of Pereira's trip after the treaty of Tordesillas (1494) and they deceived the staff of the Spanish representatives through Pope Alexander Borja VI and managed to drag the line of democracy 370 leagues from the Cape Verde Islands to the western part.
