In his early twenties, Shawn Wilson participated in college football and rugby, earning him a scholarship to Whitworth University. Along with the excitement of going away to school in Spokane Washington, football and rugby contributed greatly to his college experience. He often compares himself to the fictional character, Rocky Balboa. Not due to his boxing skills, but due to thousands of blows to the head from his sports career and not-too-smart antics off the field.
