No one has traversed the boundaries of time with an oral narrative of the cultures of these women. They left no address, no pictorial record, no diary. Their lives were lived when the timeline of history had not yet stretched beyond the ruins of the Persian Empire, but their experiences as women, wives, and mothers are synonymous with women whose lives have punctuated every segment of the timeline.
