Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The difference in relative scale between the original form of these studies and the present publication may be seen especially in the case of Stephen, to whom two Sections are now assigned. There was lacking also a connected sketch of the activity of Paul, and this has been added as the concluding Section.
