This book is concerned with chemical and biological investigation of El-Salam canal water to assess its suitability for usage in reclamation of barren lands in Sahl El-Tineh region at Sinai peninsula. The book includes 8 chapters: (1) an introduction involving literature review and the aim of the work, (2) The methodology, (3) Results, (4) Discussion, (5) Conclusion, (6) References, (7) Recommendations and (8) Appendix. The study has important outcomes regarding the quality of water in the study area. The high nutrient load (N and P in particular) of canal water participates in water eutrophication, manifested as heavy algal blooming and accumulation of organic matter in the fish farms of Sahl El-Tineh region at Sinai peninsula
