Considered one of Belgium's foremost painters, Phillippe Vandenberg (1952-2009) filled hundreds of sketchbooks with drawings that explore difficult subjects of human suffering and cruelty in a style both urgent and playful. This volume offers a selection of drawings spanning 1990 until the artist's death.
