Peter Jordan's Marriage

mother in pursuit of stardom, Peter Jordan, pro football's perennial bachelor spends his resources and energy raising money for homeless children caught in the system. He's seen enough unhappy children in his nine-year career to know that when he marries, he wants a wife whose number one career goal is Mother. Love-at-first-sight doesn't exist in Pete's playbook, but when he spots wholesome-looking, all-American-girl-next door type, Bobbie Corbett, he trips over his own heart and falls, hook line and sinker for a career oriented physical therapist whose main goal is a position on a pro football team-his team Bobbie is no packaged beauty, though, and has her own history to overcome. Sometimes happily-ever-after takes a whole lot of work and more than a little compromising.
