PERSONAL WAR

The life of an American soldier assigned to a remote jungle village, forgotten during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines. Together with three Filippo Scouts and a beautiful amazon warrior woman, they organize a guerrilla force to combat bandits that has been raping and terrorizing villages, communist HUKs who killed for power and weapons and the Japanese who tortured and killed for pleasure. He immediately was given leadership and he developed strategy that successfully annihilated bandit group after group, outwitted and massacred the HUKs, and eliminated many Japanese outposts and patrols. He falls in love with his second in command, the warrior woman nicknamed Felix. Together, they have had many harrowing encounters. His three faithful Scouts do much to organize and help the success of this guerrilla force. This is a story of jungle survival in a war-torn country..
