Instead of aiming for greatness, the majority of individuals choose to search for the exception. Let's imagine you reach a point when your leadership abilities plateau. I've studied leadership concepts, and I can conclude that your leadership abilities are at level six on a scale of one to 10. At this level, your productivity will never outpace your capacity for delegation and persuasion. Your boss is unable to regularly create higher levels of production. The necessity of competent leadership is illustrated by the amusing anecdote that follows: The boss constantly reprimanded staff members for the extremely low sales at a sales meeting. He stated, 'I've had a terrible squad that keeps coming up with excuses. 'If you can't perform your job, there are many of other individuals who want to fill your spot and reap the rewards of your labor,' the saying goes. He turned to a brand-new worker who had previously played professional football and inquired, 'If a team can't win, what happens? Off the field, players will be replaced. Is that accurate? After a few troubled seconds, the ex-player answered, 'Sir, if the entire team is experiencing issues, we normally go get a new coach.' People who are 'born to be leaders' are not the only ones who can exercise leadership. Leadership qualities may be learned and developed.
