Beskrivelse
The first part of this work provides theoretical input on differentiation and individualisation and the variety of possibilities to meet the heterogeneity of pupils through different teaching concepts, methods and consideration of didactic principles in the classroom. The practical part describes in parallel ten teaching units in the subject "commercial arithmetic" on the topic of percentage calculation in two different groups of pupils, in which an attempt was made to address the diversity of the young people both in subject-related and personal respects through varied and adaptive lesson design using the available concepts, methods and principles. The aim of the empirical study was, on the one hand, to gain insights into whether the varied use of methods increases pupils' motivation and willingness to learn and, on the other hand, whether the conscious selection of different teaching methods and concepts is suitable for promoting understanding of the subject of percentage calculations.
