Lisa was married to a policeman who worked undercover. It wasn't a good fit, she became a undercover cop too because she was bored with her husband and life in general. Because she was sexy the police used her as a prostitute, it was exciting and better than staying home. For some reason they matched her with Joe Gibson, that changed everything and it set events into motion that became the stuff of legend. Lisa became an international police woman working undercover.
