Children will learn about Pentecost and Shavuot in how they relate, what it is, how it is celebrated, and why it is important. Pentecost is celebrated by all believers as the time when the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles. There is more involved. Shavuot is celebrated during this time of year and includes eating dairy foods. It is also a time of harvest.
