Pencil & Ink

All blank papers are the same no matter what sizes or shapes they are, they are all "blank", they have no contents, they are empty and pure and can have many possibilities. Yet each blank paper is just a "nothing" for the moment.

By the time I put a mark of pencil or ink on a blank paper, this paper is no longer "blank", no longer "empty"; I have given the paper a push to begin a life. And as I work on it more and more, a whole new world is born, it is "something" now, and has a content and is different from any other paper, it is a "drawing" now. But each drawing is different from any other drawing, each drawing is unique and has an identity and a character of its own.

In the process of putting marks on a blank paper, I apply my skills, knowledge, experiences, feeling to give birth to a new world. I am the creator, the goddess of the making of this new world and have all the control of its becoming.

This is the fun and the charm of the act and art of CREATIVITY.
